The accolades for Nissan’s fleet of vehicles keep rolling in! Now, it’s the Good Housekeeping Institute piping up alongside “Car and Driver” magazine. After testing 50 vehicles, the two selected a small range of their favorites within different categories. In the competitive subcompact crossover segment, the 2019 Nissan Kicks came out the victor!

Using industry protocols, the team of testers examined all the cars and ranked them on value, design, technology, handling, and safety. The Kicks performed beautifully across the board. The testing editors noted the following about the 2019 Nissan Kicks: "When it comes to the Kicks, it's all about value. You won't find a more solid car at this great of a price.”

All three models of the 2019 Kicks (S, SV, and SR) come with a 1.6-liter DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder engine with a Continuous Variable Valve Timing Control System (CVTCS). As a result, drivers can expect 122 horsepower and 114 lb-ft of torque as well as an average combined MPG of 33.

2018 nissan kicks sr for sale seattle bellevue waWith hatchback convenience too often comes dull style. These boxy beasts are meant to squeeze into unforgiving parking spaces and offer five-door support. They’re not intended to thrill on the highway.

The 2018 Kicks SR will change that.

According to The Baton Rouge Advocate, the Nissan Kicks is no mere hatchback. It’s instead a dynamic highway option that will delight from any angle. It sits on 17-inch aluminum wheels, with all-season tires adding a sporty air. A dark chrome grille is centered between wide automatic headlamps, while fog lights draw attention to the sharp fenders. The power side-view mirrors are capped in a glossy black; and body-colored inserts (available in Gun Metallic, Aspen White, and ten other shades) bring a punch of drama to the bumpers. The doors are trimmed in silver; a spoiler frames the rear; and roof rails showcase the lean five-door shape, which measures 169-inches long, 69-inches wide, and 72-inches high.

To further impress, the 2018 Kicks SR also features LED tail-lights - which yield a bold burst of color at the rear and emphasize the narrow carbon-fiber paneling. Every line of this platform is dynamic.

First making its North American debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in late November, the 2018 Kicks is ready to take Seattle and the world by storm in spring 2018. Nissan is prepping the compact vehicle to offer a sporty yet fun-loving look and a stellar performance that excels beyond what the outgoing Juke provided consumers.

Nissan aims to wow car buyers from the very moment they lay eyes on the 2018 Kicks. The exterior is a feast for the senses, offering an emotive design that’s intriguing and exciting. The floating roof is distinctive, while the “V-Motion” front grille is now pleasantly familiar to fans of the brand while still offering a certain aggressiveness. The sharp, boomerang headlights and tail lamps make generous use of LED technology for fantastic brightness. Additionally, the compact car can be had in five two-tone combinations for those really looking for some extra style.

The heart of the 2018 Kicks is its motor. The 1.6L four-cylinder is wonderfully spirited. It offers 125 HP and 115-lb.-ft. of torque. It’s also paired to a continuously variable transmission (CVT), which means any “shifting” is imperceptible—there are limitless effective gear ratios that provide for the smoothest ride you’re likely to ever experience.

We’ve spoken on the all-new 2018 Nissan Kicks’ myriad of interior technologies, but what about the exterior and the engine’s prowess? Let us ease your mind—the upcoming crossover is set to both look good and speed mightily along Seattle’s streets.

As Nissan says, the 2018 Kicks’ styling is a combo of “emotion and practicality.” The familiar, celebrated V-Motion grille makes a
n appearance on the front, of course, but there’s so much more. There are aggressive boomerang headlamps and taillights, with LED technology available. The distinctive floating roof is eye-catching, too, and a total of seven body colors with five two-tone combinations really give consumers options. As far as design goes, this vehicle is exceptionally forward thinking.

All Kicks models come with a 1.6L four-cylinder engine rated at 125 horses and 115-lb.-ft. of torque. This is set to be mated to a continuously variable Xtronic transmission that has a limitless number of effective gear ratios for an impressively smooth ride. And MPG is expected to be stellar at 33 MPG combined, which compares favorably to everything in Nissan's line, including the Pathfinder and Murano.

At the Los Angeles Auto Show yesterday, the 2018 Kicks made its North American debut. The automobile is the latest in Nissan’s award-winning crossover and SUV lineup and looks to add to that segment’s record sales.

Due to arrive at dealerships including Kirkland Nissan beginning in June 2018, the
Kicks is an all-new crossover set to shake up the automotive world thanks in large part to its incredible in-cabin technology. There’s a 7-inch full-color dashboard display that is both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatible. Standard on all trims is a back-up camera, Blind Spot Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. A grand total of seven airbags further ups the ante when it comes to safety. Also, upper-trim variants include the class-exclusive Bose Personal Plus sound system, which boasts dual 2.5-inch UltraNearfield neodymium speakers nestled within the driver’s headrest. Swanky!

The Kicks S, KicksSV, and Kicks SR models will bolster Nissan’s SUV lineup, acting as a gateway to the rest of the automaker’s similar offerings—the Rogue, Pathfinder, Armada, and Murano.
