If you are in need of a plush hauler, offering plenty of room for passengers and an upscale feel, the 2018 Nissan Armada Platinum is a solid contender. Awarded 8 out of 10 for comfort and quality by The Car Connection, this full-size, three-row SUV is your ticket to serious luxury.
Â
Â
A quick glance at the Armada Platinum and one thing is certain – it shares the same great looks and high-end appeal as its cousin, the Infiniti QX80. From the outside in, this SUV is curvaceous and bold, boasting a luxe interior with overstuffed bucket seats that deliver a throne-like experience from the first two rows. As you slip into the driver’s chair, the leather-wrapped four-spoke steering feels good in your hands, while the soft-touch materials and wood-trim accents are easy on the eyes. The leather upholstery throughout is buttery soft too.
Â
The 2018 Armada boasts high-tech luxury with a standard 8-inch touchscreen with NissanConnect, blind-spot monitors, automatic emergency braking, and active lane control. New for 2018, the Platinum trim also includes a rearview camera that displays a live feed from the back of the vehicle, eliminating any visual obstructions caused by the rearmost roof pillars, head rests, or passengers.
Â
The Armada is made for the most-discerning drivers who have a penchant for life’s finer details. To see if this SUV might be the vehicle for you, contact our team at Kirkland Nissan in Seattle, Washington, for a test drive.

All-new 2018 models of the Armada have been making their way into our showroom at Kirkland Nissan in Seattle, Washington, and this full-size SUV is becoming a fast favorite with customers. For one, shoppers love the Armada for its huge cabin and cavernous cargo area, but there's another feature that's generating a lot of buzz - and that's Nissan's Intelligent Rear View Mirror (I-RVM).
Â
Upon first glances, the I-RVM looks the same as a traditional rear view mirror, but it also sports a built-in LCD monitor that is activated by pushing a button. When the mirror is turned on, the monitor provides an expanded field of view from the high-performance, narrow-angle camera, which is located at the back of the vehicle. Even in low-spectrum conditions, the I-RVM can help drivers feel more confident while maneuvering in busy parking lots or in traffic, or it can be activated while driving.

Have you ever been in a situation where the cargo area of your vehicle was so full that you couldn’t see out your rearview mirror or back window? It’s nerve-wracking – especially if you need to reverse out of a parking space or keep tabs on vehicles behind you while driving.
Â
That problem is now a thing of the past with the 2018 Armada. It’s the first Nissan vehicle to offer the all-new Intelligent Rearview Mirror (I-RVM), which acts as a second set of eyes when your line of sight is obstructed.Â
Â
According to Nissan, the I-RVM looks the same as a traditional rearview mirror, but with a built-in LCD monitor that is activated with the push of a button. When the intelligent mirror is turned on, the monitor provides an expanded field of view from the high-performance, narrow-angle camera, which is located at the rear of the vehicle. Even in low-light conditions, the I-RVM helps drivers feel more confident while maneuvering in busy parking lots or in traffic. Best of all, the mirror can be activated while driving.

Neat, right? This technology is especially ideal for Seattle area drivers who regularly carry oversized cargo or transport taller passengers.Â
