And, boy, did Seattle truck enthusiasts ever speak up! Nissan’s social media pages were flooded with #MountainPatrol votes, spurring the design team to dash to the finish line. And, tonight, the time has arrived, as Nissan will unveil the Armada Mountain Patrol LIVE on their Facebook page at 6:15 pm (MST).
Built on a stock 2018 Armada, this all-wheel drive SUV offers huge performance from its burly 5.6-liter Endurance V8 engine, which is rated at a best-in-class 390-horsepower and boasts a monstrous 8,500-lb towing capacity. Nissan is calling it the ultimate overlanding vehicle, complete with the necessary camping comforts and tools for life in the wild. It also boasts many Nissan Intelligent Mobility technologies, ready to tackle any adventure that you throw at it.
