Just shy of its 50th anniversary of the original 1969 Datsun 240Z, Nissan is displaying some of its iconic vehicles at the 31st annual International Z Car Convention, which kicked off yesterday in Atlanta, Georgia.
Â
The automaker has four vintage cars that they are excited to share with other Z Car buffs, including a 1960 Datsun 1200 Sedan, a 1960 Datsun Fairlady Roadster, a 1965 Datsun 320 Truck and the No. 83 Nissan GTP-ZX Turbo, which was the 1988-89 IMSA Championship race car.
Motorsports legends Peter Brock and John Morton will also make appearances at the five-day festival, along with Yoshihiko Matsuo, who designed the original 240Z. Over 1,200 Datsun and Nissan enthusiasts are expected to descend upon the streets of Atlanta and nearby racetracks to take in the convention, which is known as ZCON.Â
