A few weeks ago, we shared news about 2020 Nissan Juke spy images floating around the internet in full camo. But, now, thanks to the folks at Kolesa.ru, professional renderings of the compact crossover have been released. You can view them here.
One quick glance at the next-gen Juke and it’s clear that Nissan has taken an evolutionary approach, rather than revolutionary. The vehicle’s quirky exterior is still a focal point; however, some of the front- and back-end lines have been refined for a softer, less bulging appearance. The fascia also features a stacked three-row LED lighting configuration, along with a larger radiator grille.
Since this next-gen Juke is slated for release within the European market, automotive journalists are expecting that Renault Nissan’s 1.5-liter dCi engine will be popular with consumers, followed by a compact hybrid powertrain. The model will also be based on the CMF-B platform, which also underpins other models from the Alliance, including the Nissan Qashqai and X-Trail and the Renault Kadjar and Koleos.
As mentioned, there are no plans to re-release the 2020 Nissan Juke to the North American market since it was removed from the line-up and replaced with the new Kicks. However, if you want to add some of the Juke’s eccentricity to your life, our dealership does carry a range of preowned models.
