Latest Nissan News For Seattle, Tacoma, And Bellevue Washington
buy a new nissan sentra in seattle washingtonThere’s no denying that what’s beneath the hood of the 2018 Nissan Sentra is enough to launch this tried-and-true commuter into a league all its own. This vehicle truly delivers to Seattle drivers a caliber of power typically reserved for speed demons and sports car enthusiasts only.

But enough idle chit-chat. We’ll let the stats help you decide. With a 1.6-L direct-injection engine capable of 188 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque, expect tasks like passing on the freeway to seem like a simple walk in the park. With its exhaust-gas recirculation system and low-inertia turbocharger, the Sentra is able to maintain this impressive agility without strain.

Equipped with Nissan’s Xtronic® CVT transmission, the 2018 Sentra is capable of hitting an extremely wide range of gear ratios
— suited for, say, a tricky grade that's too steep for 3rd and too shallow for 4th. What’s more, the system provides some of the smoothest shifting ever, with no drop in power whatsoever between speeds. Not to mention a setup like this keeps mileage at a comfortable combined 29 mpg. An efficient engine is a happy one!

buy a new nissan maxima in seattle washingtonThe 2018 Maxima’s infotainment system is like something out of a Star Wars film. Designed to mimic the experience of using a tablet, its features are as intuitive as they are useful, taking your driving experience to new heights that are totally out of this world.

Worried about phone compatibility? With Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, the Maxima delivers the best of both worlds, including stellar features like Siri®  or Skype. Smart devices can also be equipped with an app to lock up on the fly— without missing that text from your impatient father-in-law. Say you drive the all black SR Midnight Edition™ and it is midnight; with this same app you can also remotely trigger the horn and lights so you never get lost in the parking lot again.

We’re the fashion and function types at Kirkland, which is why we love this infotainment system’s ability to blend both entertainment and safety. With the standard, center-mounted Display Commander wheel, you can control this car's features with one hand without taking your eyes off the road. The Maxima’s NissanConnect services are second to none, with emergency calling and roadside assistance available at the touch of a button.

new nissan titan available in seattle washingtonTwo months after Hurricane Irma tore through the Southeastern United States, the devastation was easily visible, with canals in the Florida Keys still full of debris and battered houses lining the streets. Enter Montana-based fly fishing guide Hilary Hutcheson and her powerful Titan, with a lofty goal of cleaning up wreckage alongside her team of outdoor industry peers.

Hutcheson and her team spent an entire day carting debris to community trash piles, utilizing the Titan’s 99-inch long, 64-inch wide bed to move the waste with extreme efficiency. With its 4-wheel drive, Endurance® 5.6-L V8, and 7-speed automatic transmission, the truck was also able to tackle treacherous terrain of all types, reaching the formerly unreachable within moments.

Later that day the crew partook in a fly fishing tournament to raise money for local guides whose business had been impacted by the disaster. The 2017 Titan is fully equipped for the odd tailgate party, with a bluetooth wireless entertainment system, Rockford Fosgate® audio, and rear bumper step-assist
— perfect for those looking to unwind after the competition.

Hutcheson’s project proves that no matter what the task, the Nissan Titan has the strength and ability to rise to the occasion. Contact us today to learn more.

buy a new nissan rogue in seattle washingtonThe 2017 Rogue Sport was named one of the 13 best subcompact SUVs by US News last year. We realize we must sound like a broken record, always speaking about awards and accolades, but our vehicles keep exceeding expectations around the world— and someone’s got to talk about it!

First to catch the adjudicators attention was the car’s ample room for cargo. Relative to its size the Rogue Sport’s storage area is humongous, but that’s just the tip of this cache iceberg. With a fold down rear-bench, flip up dividing panel, and ‘hide’ configurations, you can morph the 53 cubic feet of space to meet your needs. Got to move a fragile glassware set that needs to sit snug in the back? Worried about leaving your pricey electronics in the back? Don’t fret, we’ve got a place for that.

Striking a perfect balance between its space and its sportiness, the Rogue wowed judges further with its impressive handling. At 172 inches long, this car is able to navigate dense city streets as if disguised as a tiny little commuter. Together with its optional all-wheel drive, slippery slopes and restless roads alike are no match for this SUV.

As much as we love to brag, you should contact Kirkland Nissan and come see for yourself!
buy a new nissan armada in seattle washingtonAutonomous cars may have started off as a pipe dream in the recent past, but vehicles that can sense their environment and cruise around with little-to-no human input are becoming more of a reality with each passing year. The Armada, with its intelligent driving system, can get you remarkably close to this seemingly sci-fi tech.

Take, for starters, a cruise control feature that’s able to sense and maintain a comfortable distance from other vehicles around you— eliminating the touch-and-go grief of congested freeways and shaving some tension off your trips. An intelligent forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking can also monitor speed and location of the car in front of you (and whoever's in front of that one, too). Highway driving gets monotonous and our minds sometimes wander, but the Armada is easily able to get your head back in the game in the safest way possible.

With its intelligent, 360º monitor, the 2018 Armada gives a birds-eye view of your surroundings. Warning whenever it detects objects in your vicinity and automatically applying the brakes to avoid collisions, it can change even the tightest parking job into what will feel like pulling up in a football field.

The all-new 2018 Leaf and Rogue will also be on display, in conjunction with compelling presentations highlighting ProPILOT Assist – an autonomous driving technology that is available on both models.

2018 nissan maxima for sale in washingtonWhen it comes to selecting a safe and trustworthy midsize car, the 2018 Nissan Maxima doesn’t get any better. This model was recently named a 2018 Top Safety Pick by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), which hailed the vehicle for its crashworthiness, strength, and collision prevention.

And new for this year, the IIHS has introduced an updated crash test program, known as the passenger-side small overlap frontal test, which highlights occupant safety on the right side of a vehicle. The IIHS specifically developed this test to shed light on the fact that automakers were paying less attention to the front passenger area – specifically, they saw a need for better small overlap front crash protection. Under the new requirements, a “Good” or “Acceptable” passenger side rating is required to qualify for the institute’s highly-coveted 2018 Top Safety Pick award.

As for the 2018 Maxima, it received “Good” scores across all crashworthiness tests, which assesses a vehicle's small overlap front, moderate overlap front, side, roof strength, and head restraints and seats. It also scored a “Superior” rating for front crash prevention and “Acceptable” scores for headlights and the ease of child seat anchors.

One of the reasons why the Maxima is so safe is because all trims come equipped with a standard Nissan Advanced Air Bag System for the driver and front passenger seats. This includes supplemental front airbags, seat belt sensors and an occupant classification sensor, front seat-mounted side-impact supplemental airbags, and roof-mounted curtain side-impact supplemental airbags with rollover sensors for front and rear outboard occupant head protection. If you are ever in the unfortunate situation of being in a collision, the 2018 Maxima works overtime to keep you protected.

Get ready, Seattle and North America! The all-new 2018 Nissan LEAF is almost here, scheduled for a release early this year in this territory. However, in the interim, aficionados on our side of the pond can look on eagerly as production has kicked off on the zero-emissions wonder car in the United Kingdom.

Nissan announced this week that the very first LEAF EVs are coming out of the plant in Sunderland, UK. The initial vehicles will be delivered to European customers in February. Each will be imbued with the latest technology, including improvements over the 2017 model in regards to design, driver assistance, and range.

The new LEAF delivers a range of 150 miles on a single battery charge, with performance increased to a total of 147 horses and 236-lb.-ft. of torque. There’s also intelligent design throughout. ProPILOT Advanced Driving Assistance monitors surrounding vehicles and automatically controls the distance to the automobile traveling ahead, as well as centering the car within the lane. Additionally, the new e-Pedal is standard on all models. It enables operators to start, stop, increase and decrease speed by using only the accelerator, simplifying the experience.

nissan service center in seattle washingtonWhen it comes to first service appointment scheduling, Nissan is at the top of the heap, next to its counterpart Infiniti. Both automakers were recently recognized as brands that are successful at scheduling a customer’s initial maintenance visit before they can even drive off in their brand new vehicle.

In the study, almost 50% of the respondents said their first service appointment was scheduled before they left the building. This is compared to other brands, like Honda, BMW and Jaguar-Land Rover, where only 22-29% of respondents had their first appointment booked at the time of vehicle purchase. You can view the results of the November 2017 DealerRater survey by clicking here.

In a world where everyone is busy, pulled in 100 directions and overwhelmed with ongoing to-dos that often get overlooked or delayed, pre-booking your initial service visit for your new Nissan takes the stress out of your vehicle’s maintenance. It also shows how much your dealer cares about you and the relationship that has been created when choosing to purchase a quality Nissan product.

And at Kirkland Nissan, we care about our customers – from the initial test drive and signing of the purchase agreement to helping you maintain your vehicle over the course of its lifetime. Relationships are important to us, no matter where you are in your ownership experience.

2018 altima for sale in seattle waIf you are in search of an all-new sedan with a focus on passenger safety, you'll want to check out the 2018 Nissan Altima. It was recently named an Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) 2018 Top Safety Pick, earning “Good” crashworthiness scores across the board and a “Superior” score in front crash prevention, which are the highest ranking by the safety authority.

And new for this year, it’s harder for vehicles to pass the crash tests since the IIHS updated their standards. Now a vehicle must score “Good” ratings in the driver-side small overlap front, moderate overlap front, side, roof strength, and head restraint tests. It must also receive a good rating in headlight tests, score advanced or superior ratings for front crash prevention, and also score either acceptable or good ratings in the passenger-side small overlap front test.

Despite the tougher standards, they were no match for the 2018 Nissan Altima. This mid-size sedan features many top-notch safety features that add to its rigidity and security on the roads, including:

• Standard Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB)
• Standard Intelligent Forward Collision Warning (I-FCW)
• Available radar-based Blind Spot Warning (BSW)
• Available Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC)
• Available Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA)

It's one of the safest vehicles on the roads. Don't you think it's time you give it a closer look?

To learn more about the all-new Altima, its available trim levels, options and pricing, contact us at Kirkland Nissan in Seattle, Washington to schedule a test drive. We currently have several 2018 Altimas in stock – which will be yours this holiday season?
